Partners in Caring 2011 H.O.P.E. Golf Classic

Executive Director Janet Wangler had the pleasure to represent Juniper Village at Forest Hills, along with Ron Fleck of Fox Rehabilitation, Wendy Long of Solutions for Independence and Jason Prokopik of Garda Rx, to raise money for children in need of organ transplants. The RMC Foundation is a memorial for Robert Martin Conley who lost his life while on a waiting list for a liver transplant. His family created the Foundation to raise awareness about transplant donation and to benefit local families with children in need of financial assistance. This year's recipient was eight year old Nicholas Swinehart. Diagnosed at birth with Malrotation Volvus (twisting bowel), he received his first transplant, liver and small bowl at six months old. Facing liver failure, he received his second transplant in 2006, liver, stomach, pancreas, and small bowel. Today he continues to battle while amazing his family and medical community. He has been classified as a "true miracle". Facing ongoing medical treatments and expenses; together we can offer H.O.P.E. so he can continue to receive the proper medical care.
