Lots of Kudos

We recently received this email from one of our resident’s family:

Just wanted to let you know that we are both extremely happy with Juniper Village!  The staff is excellent and so friendly, and they quite genuinely  and obviously care about the residents.  Tops on my long list of “loves” are Jessica and her entire office staff (some names I don’t yet know but I know their faces), Beth, Kathy, Patty, Lessie and so many more.  Another wonderful person I’ve newly encountered is Steve in maintenance.  Someone (wasn’t me, I swear) tracked gum into my mother’s apartment on their shoe.  Gum spots tracked in from the front door to the love seat. Lots of little black sticky spots on that beautiful brand new carpet. The receptionist called maintenance and Steve came over. He checked it out and went and got supplies and cleaned it immediately.  He was so nice and said “anything you need anytime, please just let us know”.  He was really sincere too.  Mike has also been wonderful.  He did such a great job on the walls and painting, came and gave me hooks when he saw I was going to hang pictures, and was so friendly.  When I asked the front desk on how to clean the mini blinds (the back ones were really dirty) she said “you don’t have to do that, we’ll do that”.  Mike then checked it out and told me not to worry, they’ll be replaced. A few days later we had all new mini blinds. Wow!  Everyone is so great there. I looked at 7 places and clearly picked the best. And fortunately closest to me too coincidentally although distance was not a selection factor. I would be happy to pass these kudos on publicly. If there are web sites you’d like me to post a review or ever any families you’d like me to speak with, just let me know. This has been a great experience, and a great choice. I can’t believe how great the staff are. Only there a week and two days but we are already huge fans.

April 2015 Events in Pittsburgh, PA: Believe in Yourself

Welcome to April - the name derived from the Latin word Aperire meaning “to open”; the month when everything starts to bloom and come alive. What better time to really put forth your best efforts and see the true beauty inside than the month in which everything begins anew! Diana Ross, in the Wiz, advises “believe in yourself, right from the start. You'll have brains; you’ll have a heart; you’ll have courage to last your whole life through if you believe in yourself.” So let’s put our best foot forward, believe in ourselves and we can move mountains!

Join us for our April 2015 events in Pittsburgh, PA at Juniper Village at Forest Hills as we pull pranks on April Fool’s Day; honor Jesus Christ on Good Friday, followed by hiding Easter eggs; celebrate the emancipation of the Israelites from slavery on Passover; and celebrate mother earth on Earth Day and Arbor Day. Peruse this month’s calendar as we focus on the brain through our Daily Brain Builders, Wii tournaments and our Healthy Brain Luncheon. Plan to join us for any and all events.
