Juniper Village Residents Take To The High Seas!

Pittsburgh is a beautiful city and what better way to enjoy it than with a sight seeing trip down the Allegheny and Monongahela Rivers aboard the Gateway Clipper. Juniper Village residents attending the outing last week enjoyed reminescing about the city landmarks that used to be there, seeing the new football and baseball stadiums, and all of the many changes that have occurred along our shoreline over the past few years. No wonder they say Pittsburgh is one of the most livable cities in America!

Forest Hills Trip To The Zoo

It was a wet afternoon but the weather didn't dampen the fun our residents had when they visited the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium last week. The residents especially loved visiting with the camels, monkeys, giraffes and exotic fish at the aquarium. A lot has changed over the years at the zoo. Many of the residents  remembered the old zoo from the 50's with the outdoor cages. They were all pleased to see
the animals in the zoo's new natural habitat design.
