Breathe in Life

What better way to "Breath in Life" and welcome spring than with Juniper Village at Forest Hill's Indoor Farmer's Market. On Saturday, February 23rd vendors, residents and members of the community were invited to sample and purchase a variety of spring garden products including: fresh vegetables, organic coffees and teas, locally harvested honey, herbal skin care products, homemade sausages and meats, as well as gluten free baked goods, pastries and ethnic specialities. Gardeners enjoyed sorting through hundreds of seed packets, discussing Forest Hills Garden Club projects and gaining organic gardening tips from local Pittsburgh-Post Gazette writer and author, Doug Oster. As you can see, the event got everyone excited to welcome spring!
