May Celebrations Come To Juniper Village At Forest Hills: Cinco de Mayo, The Kentucky Derby & Mother's Day!

May Celebrations Come To Juniper Village At Forest Hills: Cinco de Mayo, The Kentucky Derby and Mother's Day! Residents, families and staff photographed here celebrate the many holidays in May welcoming a new season and warmer weather! Residents enjoy a Sing A Long Celebration in honor of Cinco de Mayo as well as learn about the history of the day. The Children of Trinity Christian School also stopped by as apart of their yearly Work-A-Thon to present our residents with a delighful program as well as hand out Mother's Day cards for all the mother's. The Kentucky Derby brought a history on the event as well as Mint Julips for everyone to enjoy! Residents also tuned in to the televised event and placed their bets for the winner! Everybody celebrated mom this Mother's Day with a wonderful Mother's Day Lunch provided by our Dietary Department as well as entertainment provided by local entertainer Tracy Lee Simmen. April showers absolutely do bring May flowers that are blooming with many fun filled activities and events here at Juniper Village Forest Hills!

A Hoppin' Good Easter At Juniper Village Forest Hills!

Residents, families and staff in these photographs enjoy a hoping good time during our Easter Celebration. Everyone enjoyed a beautiful Easter Buffet provided by our Dietary Department! Entertainment was provided by local entertainer Trina Janura, who had everyone shaking their bunny tails! Students from Trinity Christian School also helped entertain this holiday season with an Easter Program. Eric Fithyan of Cedars Hospice uplifted our spirits with a Palm Presentation and Service which also included piano playing and singing of some of our most inspirational hymns. Residents also enjoyed complimentary Easter Goodie Bags that were helped handed out by Connections Director, Rodney Boyers Golden Retriever "Dallas". Even the Easter Bunny made a special visit taking time out of his busy schedule courtesy of Horizons Hospice. This past Easter at Juniper Village Forest Hills helped all of us continue in "Nurturing The Spirit Throughout All Seasons Of Life"...

Juniper Village At Forest Hills Celebrates Employee Appreciation Week!

Staff, Residents and Community shown here in these photographs help celebrate Employee Appreciation Week. Our Annual Employee Appreciation Week was this past April 4th through April 8th. Juniper Village at Forest Hills celebrated all week long with fun activities daily. On Monday the 4th we had "Wear A Crazy Hat To Work Day" and gave out complimentary breakfast, lunch and dinner to our employees. Tuesday the 5th we had our "Wear Your Crazy Socks To Work Day" and our "Years Of Service Awards Presentation", where we also served refreshments. On Wednesday the 6th we had "Wear Your Favorite Tie Or Scarf To Work Day" and celebrated Juniper's Anniversary as well as Oma's Birthday, where Strawberry Shortcake was served and Staff participated in singing "Happy Birthday" to Oma as well as our "We Are Family Karoke Singing Contest" where staff received complimentary Subway gift cards for their best rendition. On Thursday the 7th we had "Wear Your Pajama's To Work Day" and "Juniper Spa Day". Facials were provided by Denise Jobes who works in our beauty shop and who is also a representative for Mary Kay. Mini Massages were also available and were provided by Asera Care Hospice. Desserts and Refreshments were provided compliments of Wellness Director Charlene Stiffey and Medication Tech Supervisor Katelyn Wygant. On Friday the 8th we had a "Hawaiian
Luau Party" where we had a Potluck Dinner that was provided compliments of the Leadership Team. Employees were encouraged to dress in their best Hawaiian Luau Outfit. Live Entertainment was provided by local entertainer Franki Capri. Complimentary gift baskets from various agencies working with Juniper Village at Forest Hills were donated for daily drawings throughout the week. The entire week was a success letting our employees know how much we appreciate them! Residents also joined in on the fun and shared their appreciation as well proving once again that Juniper Village consistently encourages everyone to have an active body, engaged mind and fulfilled spirit throughout all seasons of life!
