Residents and Veterans alike enjoy a special Veterans Day Performance by local entertainer Trina Janura! Residents, staff, families and veterans showed their patriotism by waving our "Grand Ole Flag" while singing some of our nations beloved patriotic songs!About Our Veterans Day Entertainer: Trina Janura:
Trina Janura has over a decade and thousands of shows in her resume! She hails from her hometown of Long Island, NY. Trina has been in the entertainment field for over fifteen years in New York. As if singing, playing guitar and flute weren't enough, she has been performing as a one-woman show/DJ/MC/karaoke act called "DJ And More by TJ Productions" for the past 10 years.
Trina's show is unique, visual, lively, versatile, energetic and spontaneous, with a comedic flair. Trina's live vocals and flute are richly accompanied by full background tracks and has been heard playing in assisted living residences, nursing homes, daycares, rehabs, and UCPs across Long Island, as well as concerts, events, private parties for all occasions, and nightclubs.
Trina caters to many with a variety of themes. Using BOTH a cordless mic AND a headset mic enables her to use my many crazy props. In her totally self-contained shows, she dresses in costume for different themes and holidays as she encourages all to get in on the fun.Trina's music is an upbeat mixture of song and interaction which leaves the folks feeling GREAT!
We were very happy to have Trina perform her Veterans Day Show for us and will welcome her back to perform for us again!
