Forest Hills Trip To The Zoo

It was a wet afternoon but the weather didn't dampen the fun our residents had when they visited the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium last week. The residents especially loved visiting with the camels, monkeys, giraffes and exotic fish at the aquarium. A lot has changed over the years at the zoo. Many of the residents  remembered the old zoo from the 50's with the outdoor cages. They were all pleased to see
the animals in the zoo's new natural habitat design.

Forest Hills -Take Me Out To The Ball Game

The weather may not have cooperated but everyone still had a lot of fun as members of Juniper Village at Forest Hills Men's Club headed down to PNC Park for a Pittsburgh Pirates Ball Game. The rains came and after a 2 hour rain delay, the gang decided to head home.....but not until they loaded up on nacho chips, hot dogs and plenty of peanuts and cracker jacks!! Guess they will have to wait
until next year to hear them say," Play Ball!"
